I have a 47 A with no spark to the distributor, has great spark coming from coil this is a magneto set-up help please! thanks in advance

Do you have a magneto... if so, the rotor may be out of time, missing, or shorted out.

Or do you have a magneto converted to act as a distributor with the addition of an external coil?

Or do you actually have a distributor?

Here's a link to the IH Blue Ribbon Mag Service Manual over at Rudi's Farmall Cubs. It has complete instructions for timing the mag's rotor as well as anything else you may need to know about the mag.
