Farmall C step

A few days ago I asked if anyone had seen a step for a C. I didn't get many responses, so I decided to make one. The picture shows what I came up with. It uses 2 standard "C" fender bolts to mount. Could be put on either side, I chose the left because the pully is on the other side.Just wondering if there's any interest in the step, and what the Farmall boys thought about it.

If you like it, it's fine. Many C's used axle mounted implements, mine has a 3 point on it.

I had a Super C a few years ago and it had two "L" shaped steel brackets in front of the axle with a wooden plank bolted across under the torque tube so you could step up from the front. I had the rear wheels out far enough to provide room. The "L" brackets bolted to the front side of the implement brackets and did not interfere with any rear mounted implements. I usually got on from the left side - put up the right foot first on the plank, then the left on the platform and swing the right either over the seat or between the seat and the steering wheel.

Worked so well that I later fabricated a similar step for my Kubota. Was a great help to these old legs!
