I put a am fm radio on 656 gas but get alot of noise I can hear radio but also alot of static what to do to make it stop

Change the plug wires to the auto radio suppression type wires and also add a condenser to the ignition side of the coil and or buy a suppressor for the radio from radio shack if they still sell them that is

My '72 Chevy had radio noise from the ignition. I tied a half knot in the coil wire and it went away.
