Hard to tell but I also say a B. Look under the seat on the up rights and you should be able to find the serial number tag. I forgot which side since it has been a couple years since looking for them on a B

Measure the width between the side of the transmission and the edge of the seat platform. If that distance is about 22" it's a B, if it's more like 18" it's a BN.

Thanks folks, looks like I have a B. Other research on web seems to show it being a 1945. Do you agree on this? Is this worth fixing up to use for 500.00 with two implements to use for mowing and plowing. I am a city girl and don't know what they are called. I will learn.

$500.00 if the engine is not frozen. If the engine is frozen, I would not bother with it unless you plan to restore it for show. If you want to plow, the B is not a good choice. No hydraulics. Other than pulling finishing mowers, the B has little modern utility. Their value is mostly as restoration projects.

Now thats you opinion there is a ton of tasks those little tractor can do have you even plowed with one they do a great job for a small tractor. With a sickle mower they will out mow lots of the bigger ones turning the corners is super. Getting on and off is hard to beat.

$500 is relative, because of how much you could put into the restoration. As said before, getting an idea of the condition of the engine would be the first step.

i think he means for a "city girl" knowing where to get implements for it may be harder unless it comes with the original equipemnt. as you know modern 3pt stuff will not adapt unless you also know you need a 3pt hitch adapter etc etc.
