Farmall 504 Throttle issue

We had to pull the power steering pump to replace seals. We are having problems with the throttle linkage now. It wasn"t in good shape to start with and worse now. The end of the throttle shaft was bent up and the ball link was worn out and held on with wire. We think we straitened it out but not it wont stay on idle and throttles up. Would anyone have pictures of the throttle shaft and how it should be adjusted?

Thanks

Not entirely sure what you're looking for. This is what's under the dash below the lever. Do you have that spring hooked up?

The spring on ours is hooked to a "C" shaped plate that goes around the throttle shaft and attaches over the pin in your picture. The picture helps, now I can see how the arm is shaped where the rod attaches. Is the lever in the idle position?
