Farmall Cub Hydraulics

What is the correct way to check the hydraulic fluid level i my cub? And what type of oil do i put in to fill it?

Lower the lift all the way down so that the cylinder is retracted into the T/C case. Remove the fill plug from the side of the case and fill until the fluid is at the bottom of the threads. Reinstall the plug and cycle the lift a couple times and check again.
The oil (HyTran) can be found at Case/IH, or any HyTran equivilant can be used. Check NAPA, Wal-Mart or favorite auto parts store. The older Cubs were run on straight non-detergent 30wt.
