farmall b pto wont engage

I have a farmall B that the pto wont engage. the shifter moves but it wont make the shaft turn. i get no grinding of gears or any other noise.

please help if you can.

You need to pull the pto assy off the tractor. Then you can see your problem the main shaft in the tranny mite be bad where the coupling hooks to make the pto turn. The little peg on the lever assy is probably gone because the pto kept jumping out of gear so they held it to keep pto running and wore the peg off. The two slots on the main shaft get worn and the sliding sleeve wont stay enguaged. Whatever parts you need i have. Mite need to give me an e-mail so i can give ya my cell# I have repaired several not that bad a job unless the main shaft in the tranny is bad.
