need some info on a intake that I took off a parted out LP "M" Farmal...part # on it is 3583D8-R1....has a threaded ex. outlet...is this a factory or aftermarket part ?? thanks Kent

If it was a straight M not an SM or SMTA, it was not LP from the factory, it is a conversion. Most conversions I have seen use the gasoline X1 engine manifolds, So threaded 2"NPT is correct. JimN

thanks for the replys...I knew it was a conversion but I thought that the "M" had two bolts holding the muffler on ...last "M" I drove was in 1963...my mind has gone south for the winter...I'll just throw it on the trailer going to the scrap yard in the morning....take care ...Kent

358308 R1 is a IH LP manifold that IH used on part of the SM LP tractors and on 400 and 450 LP tractors. As already posted its worth something.
Tractors originaly shipped to use distillate and kerosene fuel used the manifolds with 2 bolts for outlet pipe.
