Haveing trouble with the tractor wanting to choke down when pulling hard or working hard.Like the govenors not opening up.Cleaned the carb. even put a new kit in it. Runs good when sitting or running on level ground.

will get a lot of hits
start by cleaning and adjusting the linkage
then follow on with other items listed
sure sounds like govenor linkage problems

I think you need to adjust the linkage also trottle should be wide open then adjust the link from carb to gov
