how do I add oil to my M

I have the manual, but can find not info on where to add oil. I have done it thru the filter, but it takes forever. I know there has to be a faster way, anyone care to let me in on it?

Right front corner of the engine block. Large horizontal wing-nut looking item. Unthread it and pour the oil in.

I thought that might be the it, but could see nothing in my manual indicating that was the place, so I did not try it.
