hey fellas, i took the rotor off of my 49 cub not knowing it was gear driven. didnt get it back to where it needed to be. the tractor would pull start after that and run preety good. but it would not crank with the starter. the gear has a mark in the center of it. rotor has marks also. if timing marks on crank and pointer are in register, is it always at tdc? thanks brad
