806, oil leaking around injector??

Had oil runing down the right side of the motor and the way it looked to me at first the valve cover gasket. When I washed everything off and started it up to see if I could see where the oil was coming from, it was coming from up around the # 5 injector. It's not diesel, it is motor oil. Where can motor oil be coming from around the injector????????

Unless your pump has started pumping engine oil with your fuel, or one injector sleeve goes through an oil passage, it is likely a leaking injector. Partly burned diesel is a black, sticky liquid that at first looks like dirty engine oil. As the leak gets worse, it will build up and form a very hard, shiny, sticky layer of black ooze that will spread outward from the injector. It is EXTREMELY difficult to remove (chisel, screwdriver, putty knife, and lots of chemical cleaners). I let it go a year before I cleaned the sleeve and replaced the injector and brass sealing washer and it took 10X longer to clean than it did to replace the injector.
