Hi, I'm looking for a head for the 1945 Farmall B that I'm restoring. Did the head stay the same all the way through production of the A and B Farmalls? Just wondering if I have to look for a specific head??

Thank You!!

I don't have part numbers but there were three different compression ratios, one for kerosene, one for distilate, and one for gasoline. There may also have been a fourth high altitude head but I am not sure. All will work.

Earlier heads had a narrower opening around the spark plugs which was changed in Jan 40. Heads are all the same otherwise. Pistons were kero,gas,5000 and 8000 so dont worry about heads being different
