Farmall 560 2 point won't raise

I have a 560 hydro touch That the 2 point hitch will not raise up but if i unhook the leveler on the left side of the tractor under the dash that runs back to the rock shaft and left it up it will raise the 2 point. then I hook the leveler back up with the 2 point raise my hydro touch contorl will lower it back down. What is wrong

Josh: Sounds like you have broken spider gears within the hitch control valve.

Hugh...not to hijack the post...I had similiar problems.....but a big Thanks for the help you and the others Jim, vet, ect. getting thru the problems my worn out 560 had.....still tweaking it and farming with it and still learning...I buy what I can afford at the moment and rely on myself to fab/build what it takes to keep going..Dave

josh have the same problem with mine found out the spider gears was stripped pull the cover of under the steering wheel the top vavle asemble with the two bolts take the cover off the gears r there if only couple teeth r missing u can turn that to make it work but be careful that is timed
