Read this promotion in a publication called "Farm Show" about a product called baleskiis They quoted me a price for one of these baler liners for my John Deere 336 baler. Has anyone tried this product or had any experience with it? Positive or Negative?
Thanks,
Shaf

I have baleskiis in my old NH 271 and I am very pleased with them. They have improved the consistency of my bales in both size and weight. I sell mostly to horse owners and somtimes the look of the bale is almost as improtant as the hay quality. Because of this most days I choose to bale with the old 271 instead of a newer baler. I only baled around 9000 bales last year so I am not a big operater but I"m sure they would do well with newer larger baler. Almost forgot to mention all my tractors are red. I do most of my hay work with a farmall 656 diesel(we are on the farmall & ICH board).

Thanks for your reply. I too, make most of my hay for the horse owner market. I don't make quite as many bales as you do. The baleskiis seemed a little pricey but the biggest concern I have with this last baler, the JD336, is the lack of consistent bales. It sure eats a lot of hay, but the bales range more drastically in length then any baler I have ever used. I also have a 656 diesel but don't usually use it to bale. I use it to operate the caseIH discbine. My 656 is a hydro and has been an excellent machine. I own 8 other red tractors many of which are waiting for restoration. I do bale with a 3020 JD powershift.
I probably will try the baleskiis.
