Can anyone help diagnose and cure failure to lift? Tractor has a front end loader which runs off the internal pump as well. The rear lift has hesitated and now refuses. Worked for awhile by jiggling the loader controls....

Can't seem to locate an obvious spot for a filter to check or.....

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There is a filter on the left side of the tractor down by the step its a plate with 6 bolts just remove it and you will see the filter .

If the loader is working okay, chances are the filter is fine.

The hitch has it's own pump and "generally" is the problem because they have a tendency to wobble out the aluminum housing.

Hitch has own hyd pump and when hitch is in neutral the flow from that pump joins flow to aux valves from other pump. There is an unloading valve in draft control block that dumps this fluid to the aux valves system when hitch is in neutral. Try holding your aux valve lever to your loader until the cyl reaches end of stroke and keep holding it on demand and see if hitch will raise then. If it does the unloader valve is the problem. Also hitch has seperate relief valve and along with draft control valve they are in the compartment under the seat.
