Rear cast center interchanges for Farmall M?

I'd like to run double-bevel rims on my M (obviously not shooting for originality), and my cousin has a junked-out 806 with the 38" rear cast centers still attached.

Does anyone know if 806 cast centers will mount to Farmall M axles? If not, are there any other later-model IH cast centers that will interchange with an M?

806 won"t work need ones off 400 or 560

the 806 wheels won't work. you need 400, 450, or 560 wheel hubs.

If your cousin wants to sell some parts off of his junked out 806 shoot me an email. Where are you located. I am looking for several pieces for an 806.

806 wheels will not fit a M.

This is an EXCELLENT question. The hubs on my M are cracked (from a previous owner), and I was looking at replacing them. So this helps the part hunt.

Ed, do I understand you correctly that a 656 cast center will interchange on the M? Just want to make sure.
