what does the (FBK) stand for before the serial number

The FBK means it is a M Rowcrop, The H starts with FBH and the M is FBK. Standard models start with a W instead of a F.

I'll ad to Andy's info that there is (to my knowledge) no rime or reason for choosing that code. It was just the way IH production labeled it.
