Does the transmission and rear end run off the same grease? If so where do you add grease. This is for a 1948 M Farmall tracto

yup all runs the same. the fill is located on the deck to the right of the shifter, has a square hole in the cap, takes a 3/4 inch rachet to remove it. the level check plug is just forward the clutch pedal. takes around 14 gallons. 80-90 wt .

glad you got em back, sorry to hear that you lost some. seems like your neck of the woods has a short season for farming there, last spring we were planting soybeans when you were still snowed in, and we still have a lot of guys by me still combining corn and beans. we finished corn about 2 weeks ago, bean ground is all disced under, should have the corn ground chiseled next week.

Hi guys, not been a good year for us crop insurance guys either. Glad we could help folks, but not much time off. Seems like we needed to be 15 places at once sometimes.
