What is the model of this plow? It is a ground driven lift....I assume it has trip bottoms on it since it doesn't have a break-away hitch. From the pics I got it appears to be in good shape. What is it worth? Thanks

I would also go with the 60-70 model but it does have the spring trip latches and is not a shear bolt trip. ( notice the nut and bolt sticking up off the top of the bottom support , That is what hold the spring latch assembly .)

It's a no. 70 because the axles are on top of the plow beams and it's a clutch lift because it has two adjustment levers and your right it's a spring trip.

RFP is correct- definately a 70 since it has overslung rockshafts. I didn't realize IH made a 70 clutch lift. A 70 with trip bottoms and clutch lift has to be a rare one.

Sorry- you asked what it is worth. If the wear surfaces are all good, I would say $450-500. Maybe a bit more to the right guy. I just sold a hydraulic lift #70 4-bottom that needed nothing for $600, it was shined up and ready to go, good tires, etc. The add-on gauge wheel is a nice touch...lol

toolz: I don't think it is clutch lift. There were two different hydraulic lifts for 60 and 70 plows. I agree, it is a 70, but that is one of the early hydraulic lifts, requiring two levers, same as clutch lift plows. If you notice the plow still has McCormick on the box beam, so it is an early plow.

I've never used or seen the early lift, however it is shown in the manual that came with a plow I bought in the early 60s. My plow had the one lever type lift.

jons: It could well be, just wish these folks would pull the implement out of the weeds before asking for a positive ID. In the case of a plow it should be at least one side and one end view, all 4 would be better.
