I JUST PICKED UP THIS TRACTOR AND FOUND COOLANT
IN ALL CYLINDERS,THE TACTOR LAST RAN 2 YEARS AGO.IT WAS RUNNING WELL WHEN PARKED NO OVERHEATING OR LACK OF POWER AND DOES HAVE RAIN CAP ON MUFFLER,DUE TO ANTIFREEZE IN CYLINDERS AND NOT WATER I FEEL IT MUST BE CYLINDER HEAD OR GASKET JUST SEEMS STRANGE THAT IT RAN SO WELL WHEN PARKED AND THIS HAPPENED WHILE SITTING
ANY IDEAS? I WILL PROBALLY PULL HEAD NEXT WEEK HAVE CHECKED FOR CRACKS AND TAKE A LOOK AT HEAD GASKET I HAVE NEVER NOTICED ANTI FREEZE IN ALL CYLINDERS,MAYBE 1 OR 2 BUT NOT 6. OH WELL SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT WINTER PROJECT,MY WIFES GOING TO KILL ME DUE TO THE ADDITION OF ANOTHER WINTER PROJECT
THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS.
RICH

Once you have that head checked out and reinstalled. Be sure to use a torque wrench for tightening starting in the center and tighten in both directions. Start with 35 ft-lbs and keep increasing by 20 ft-lbs til you reach the max head torque. Once you have the engine warmed up
redo the torque again and check your valve clearances. Hal
