is my H one of the last ones?

I have a farmall H and the serial number is 391721 but i have looked in my book and it says that they only made 390,500 of them what is the actual production number?...is it rare or just a regular H?...this tractor does have a set of super H rear rims and IH disc brakes and also a super H drawbar...tell me what you think

The reference on this site says it went to 391227. Interesting. Some of the other guys will know.

Guy Fay's Data Book says they went to 391730. So, you're in the range and you have a very late H. Neat. mike

I think they made 6 or 7 thousand straight H's in 1953 but have never seen one with IH made disc brakes.

Tim: Do you know whether you have C-152 or C-164 engine? The IH disc brakes don't surprise me, a few of those came as early as 51. As for the drawbar, my dad's 51 H had the same drawbar as his 55 Farmall 300, it also had the same brakes as the 300.

I also suspect his H may have had C-164 engine as it was very close to 300 on power. I can remember using disk and field cultivator on both tractors, and in my opinion, the only difference was TA.

Your tractor definitely will be in the last few hundred H built, might even be closer.
