H reasssembly

What is your favorite method for assembling the front bolster support and frame rails to the tractor?? My tentative plan is to assemble the radiator, fan shroud, shutters and frame rails to the support and then use my engine hoist to move the whole works into place, bolt the rails to the torque tube and install the motor mounting blocks. Do you have a better way, this is my first H.

i wouldnt put the radiator on the bolster when you hang it, one slip and you got a leak in the radiator. i put the rails on the engine rear loose, bring the bolster up into position, then put the frame to bolster bolts in, be sure you have the motor mounts in too. then get everything snugged up, last is the radiator and shroud.

I agree. Leave the radiator off until everything else is assembled.

If you do it the way you described I would bolt the front bolster in the front set of holes in the frame rails temporarly,that will give you about 4 inches more of space to work with.
