1940 Farmall H - Live hydraulics??

My 1940 H has live hydraulics, would this be factory or could someone have changed it? By the way it looks somebody did a excellent job, or it came factory that way. Any ideas??

Someone converted it. The only hydraulics available from the factory in 1940 would have been the belly pump.

Matt - That's gotta be an owner-installed setup like Rusty mentions.

Factory live hydraulics did not appear on the H series until the 1954 (or maybe very late '53?) Super H.

I had a 41 H that someone put aftermarket live hydraulics on in the 1950's.It too looked professionally done,likely because most of those upgrades came in a kit.The kit had the distributor drive upright ahead of the pump as well.
