It Has Been talked about a lot on here, about the poor design of the manuel steering on the 350 utility. Was wondering, if when new if they steered hard from factory without loader? Friend Has one & has repaired gears, new bearings, new thrust bearings in spindles, steers easy jacked up. when driving it steers very hard. best we can tell tractor has never had a loader on it? Thanks

They steer hard, but ar not horrible. Make sure the lower spindle bushings are greased. I replaced the spendle bearings in my 51 GMC 3/4 with needle bearings. What a difference. JimN
