I was told about a IH 666 gas with a cab that the owner would like to get rid of.It is not running but am told it is minor fixes to get going again.He is not a mechanic and does not use this tractor.He planed to try some hobby farming but gave up the idea.I don't know much about this model,is it a decent tractor?If it is running what value would it have?I would like to know so I could make a decent offer for it.Thanks
 
Good tractor, I picked up a 656 last year under nearly the same circumstances. It had a broken exh. manifold and a few minor problems. After a few days in the shop, I actually used it quite a bit last fall and this spring. Gas tractors aren't normally my thing but this one seems to be pretty easy on fuel. PTO works well, and the 12 GPM hydraulics are sufficient to pull a liquid fertilizer cart in front of a drill.
