super m alternator bracket

Does anyone have a good picture of an alternator bracket for a super m? Planning on using a delco 10si. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Needs to be turned upside down & holes need to be longer to get alternator closer to the front--depends on the pulley. We used the old pulley off of the generator. Use a sabre saw to lengthen the holes---3 or 4 cuts--& then a small chisel to remove what's left. Or if you have an iron worker-----.

Also should have mentioned to use threaded rod to mount the alternator. Use pipe spacers & washers to space the alternator where needed to align with belt & pulleys. Make a "hinge" tightener bracket out of 2 pieces of 3/16 flat stock with an offset bend in one of the pieces. A 5/16 bolt will be strong enough on the hinge of the tightener.

BY hinge tightener do you mean the adjusting arm that keeps the alternator tight? Thanks for your help.

Yes it is the tightener. Should have said that the offset can be bent using a vise & 2 pieces of 3/16 stock. Put the 2 pieces one on each side about 1/2 to 3/4 inch apart & tighten the vise jaws to bend the offset. The offset is to make up for the thickness of the joint in the tightener & have the tightener be straight.
