Rebuilt my B motor ( pistons, rings, sleeves, balanced flywheel, wires plugs, points, condensor, rebuilt carb). The tractor starts real well and sounds good at low idle. However, when I put it at full throttle( no load) it seems to run rough. I'm no smart enough to tell if it is a ignition miss or a fuel delivery problem.I pulled off each plug wire and that affects "run" so all plugs are firing. Can someone please give me a direction!!!! Oh yea, I tried the adjusting needle butit doesnt seem to make much difference in the way it runs ( which confuses me)

Please help

With the engine at operating temp, open, full throttle.....adjust the high speed jet on the carb.(the lower one)turn it in slowly 1/4 turn at a time, until it starts to miss or lower RPM.....now turn it out 1/4 turn at a time until it starts to miss or lower RPM....now turn it in 1/4 turn at a time until it runs the smootest and the fastest..... ..You can adjust the idle jet the same way with the throttle handle all the way down...adjust idle speed and then adjust the idle jet..... .

Sounds like a fuel problem to me.Check the screen in the sediment bowl to see that it is clean.Check the line from the sediment bowl to carb for a plug.Check for rust in the tank.Hope I was able to help you.Good luck.
