Reardan, Washington, just west of Spokane, reported 7-9 inches of snow this morning. We only got a measly inch or two. They said they may be closing 4th of July pass on I90 here in North Idaho

What planet are you guys on? It was nearly 90 and humid as you could imagine here in Texas today. Couldn't be that much diffrence from there to here. I had to wear shorts to work today as I have for the past two weeks and will till mid September. But..... .we have had rain pretty regular which is highly unusual. I am sure it is gonna dry up soon. Have already been a seein these little grasshoppers that will plague us to high he11 soon. They eat more grass than the cows can and are he11 on hay fields. Hope you guys get some planting weather soon and the runoff all drinks in!

Dave--send some snow down to SE Idaho! The last 3 storms we were supposed to get never materialized. Bone dry here!

Well, I can hardly see across the street here in town this morning! They are talking 8 to 12 inches by night! There is already a 10" drift in front of my door and it is only 8:30! We are supposed to keep getting this stuff for a couple more days yet too! Winter storm watch in effect till 4pm.

I'm happy though, great break from field work, great moisture for the crops too. Hopefully it won't freeze off our early wheat, it should be ok since it wasn't up yet.

Steven

They came back and said Reardan had up to a foot of snow on the ground now. Isn't that crazy, this is May for cripes sake. The midwest deserves it, cuz it had such a nice winter, we, on the otherhand, had below temps and lots of snow all winter long..... sob, sob.
