1948 Super A. When I leave it sitting for a few days the battery goes dead. I know the generator is charging but something runs it dead over about 3 days of not running. Im no electric nut and need to know how to go about finding the problem. Right now I just drop the battery cable off, but I would like to be able to fix it. All help would be great.

Much Thanks, THEO

with the eengine running and it shows charge then sut the engine off the amp guage should show a discharge then the meter should go to neutral this is your reverse current relay working that relay disconnests the charging system from the battery when the engine is off

Does the ammeter show discharge when you let it sit? If it does, i would suspect the cut-out, if it has one. If it doesn't, then I would assume there is a wire or connection shorting somewhere.
