Whats is it worth...?I live in New England area,I am looking at buying a 41'Farmall BN with exhaust lift,it has its original landplows, front and rear wheelweights, lights, drawbar, hand crank w/roller handle, original paint and decals. This tractor has been stored in a large barn, its cover in hay chaff, cobwebs, and unattended for number of years.

Can't tell ya "what it's worth," but there is one near here, not running, banged up, no seat for $2500. No attachments. I wouldn't pay that, but someone probably will. I'm older than dirt, and could no longer muster up the ambition to restore it. Good luck...it's a nice tractor!

Jon, They are kind of rare around here in central N.Y. My son payed $1000 for one last summer. It is in decent shape but nothing special and came all by itself with no attachments. We have been told we got a good deal for around here. I don't really know, but we are happy with it.

Jon, if you get it, please give me a holler so I can come take a look at it. I've never seen one.

It seems that I can start out with my tractors in great running condition but sometime during the long cold dark winter they quickly revert to the lawn-art category. The lack of running, cold weather, and admitted neglect all take their toll on a machine. If you are lucky enough to not need your tractors during the winter months you can perform a few simple maintenance items to winterize and come spring have them going by reversing the process. If you need your tractor in ready-to-run condition (like that ... [Read Article]
