Well, my wife had been wanting a tractor, so I got her one. We have a couple of questions about it.

How much does a Farmall H weigh? It has wheel weights on the rear. Have to get a trailer, you know.

It has a home made three point hitch. I would like to restore it to its original hitch and add on the factory 3 point conversion. Can anyone send me some photos of what the original hitch looked like, with or without the conversion? I think some of the parts on this one are original, but need to see what it looked like to be sure.

Thanks,

Hal Davis (Savannah, GA)

Each wheel weight weighs 140-145#. There may be more than 1 per wheel so get out the adding machine.
Go to the Gallery section on the left side of the page and search for "H's" to get a better look at what you need.
Best advice: GET AN OWNER'S MANUAL. It makes everything so much easier to understand.
Look at the top-right of this page for manuals to purchase.
Enjoy!

I have a 44H with no hydraulics on it. It weighs 3175 without fuel or weights. The gas tank holds 17 gallons, I have wheel weights on mine a guy on this board told me that the weights are 145lbs each tire I think. The engine holds 6 quarts of oil and the trans holds 24 quarts of oil, yep 24.
