Here are a couple of pics of my 1935 F-12 hooked to our John Deere 30 combine. I know it is terrible to do such a thing, but it gives the neighbors something to talk about. Also my 51 IH L-120 with 4 LB engines on it in a parade. 2 of them are 3-5hp and 2 are 1 1/2-2 1/2hp - and they are running through the whole parade. This was in June 2000. Enjoy.

Sure is a nice looking IH truck. Would kind of like to find one myself. My dad and Grandad started farming with an old IH pickup truck. I guess it was the first tractor Grandad ever had. Dad can remember riding on the ole number 4 horse drawn mower being pulled behind the truck.

Steven,

Nice pictures. I grew up in Towner County. Been gone MANY years. Is that a butte with a name in the background of your tractor/combine photo? When we were kids, we would see those butte names on a highway map and call them butts! :)

That Butte is called the East Rainy Butte. It has a plateau on top with a bunch of communications towers and stuff. My house is about 1 1/2 miles from it. There are also a couple of natural springs running out the side of it.

You have a nice collection of machines there Steven. The L-120 would be a great Cub hauler for shows. Did you have the flat bed for it all along, or was it found? That's the same setup I'm looking to install on my '51 L-110 (4800gvw).

My flatbed was found at a truck dealer. It is actually a grain box from a tonner pickup. I have the sides and tailgate and everything for it. It is 7' wide and 8' long. I think I could fit my F-12 on it if I wanted to.

Thanks for the compliments!
Steven

I live in SW corner of North Dakota. About 40 miles southwest of Dickinson which is right along I-94. Great country out here and nice farmland. Also the people are friendly :o)
