Hello all,
I'm sneaking over here from the Ford N board. I just bought a 3 pt. disc for my 2N today
from an older gent to the west of here.
He has a bunch of misc tractors and implements
and kind of gave me the tour of the place.
He has a front end loader for a Cub tractor that he'd consider getting rid of. Also has a dozer blade for a cub that converts from a belly mount to a front mount.
The dozer blade didn't look like it was worn hardly at all and he said he had all the hardware for it. The FEL was complete and origional though someone had tried to cobble an extra cylinder onto it to make it dump hydraulically. Kind of boogered
up the front cross frame a little but not so a guy couldn't fix it pretty easy with a new piece of pipe. It was pretty decent otherwise.
I told him about all the resources at your fingertips here on the internet and said I'd look into seeing what these two implements were worth.
He's got a 57 cub too but I don't think he wants to part with that.
So, after that lengthly intro anyone got any idea what those two items are worth?
This aint a sales pitch cause I know the rules here. Just looking for info for a pretty decent old guy.
Thanks

Greetings:

If the front loader is the IH one armed loader they often sell for a crazy price of over $1,000. The front blade if complete and in good condition goes for between $200-$350. Hope this helps.

I assume the loader is in MN, right? I would like a loader for my 1973 Cub, but I will never pay $1,000 for one. For that price, I can get 1/4 of the way to a real utility tractor with loader.

No one is answering the man's question. I was fortunate to find a complete dozer blade for $90 at an auction. Don't have aclue what the loader is worth, but it depends on where you are and how bad someone wants it.

George,
I haven't been over to tractor forum to look around lately although I know Tyman revamped the place. I just store my pictures there and I'm sure storing green tractors or red ones wouldn't be a problem.
