I can give you some info about this tractor.
The IH-824 is made in Neuss am Rijn in Germany,
in the period 1970-1975.
The fuelinjection system is made by Bosch Germany,
the hydraulics also.
These parts can be bought, here in holland or germany.
I could help you with these parts if you wish.

I dont know much about a foreign IH,but I do know that my B-450 used an awful lot of parts from an MD.Many engine parts and bearings and so forth were the same, but I to be careful because some parts were different.

Correct me if I'm just being foolish, but isn't a B-450 a 450 made for the British? I had always just kind of assumed that, what with the BMD and such.
I know some parts swap between the m and the 450 so.....

According to some sources I have read, the European tractors didnt neccesarily follow the American tractors.I thought the same thing, but when I would go to my dealer for parts, many times taking the old part with me,Most of the time it would match up with anMD,Super MDand occasionally I would have parts from a 450 that would fit.
