I'm looking to buy a running Farmall B. I live in the Houston area so I was wondering: 1) what's the best source for my search? 2) are there any antique tractor clubs in the Houston area? 3) if I find a tractor in say, Ohio, what's the best way to ship it back to Texas? cost?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

There are plenty of Farmall B's available here in Texas, no need to go "overseas" to find one.
There was one recently in Goldthwaite that the owner wanted $900 for and it was nearly perfect except for paint/decals and in original condition.
If you are interested, contact me offline and I'll check to see if it's still there.

I found one in Idaho Falls for $2500, but I thought that was too high. No electrical, no 3pt.

Today's Featured Article - An Old-Time Tractor Demonstration - by Kim Pratt. Sam was born in rural Kansas in 1926. His dad was a hard-working farmer and the children worked hard everyday to help ends meet. In the rural area he grew up in, the highlight of the week was Saturday when many people took a break from their work to go to town. It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer. It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership, ... [Read Article]
