How much horsepower does this tractor have?
My PTO won't shut off? Any ideas on how to fix it? Does anyone know where I can find a manual for it?

I am presuming that you have Independent PTO.
If so, there is a oblong cap on the right side of the pto assembly on the back of the tractor. Under that, there are 2 "anchor' bolts. These are the band adjustments. The front one is for the operating band, the back one for the anti-creep (stop). Counterclockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten. Good luck!

Larry, The PTO lever may be out of adjustment, look at the bottom of the lever the engages/dis-
engages the PTO, there should be a slot at each
end that a pin or clevis fits in. Pushing the lever down toward the ground should dis-engage
and pull he lever up should engage, adjust accordingly for proper setting in the back of the
back of the tractor next to the PTO/shaft housing.
Ig you follow were the rod connect to the level you will see were to adjust this lever. If that
dozen't do it then you may have to do some major
repair.

Manuels can be found on this Yesterdays web page
or at many of IH/Farmall dealers on the Web or at local IH/Case dealer. Last but not least at tractor swap meets. If you have a few minutes that can turn into an hour looking though 100's
of manuels and boxes, swap meets can turn up lots
of orginal manuels a somewhat low cost.

On the horsepower, look on the IH/Farmall web page
for the Neb. Tractor Tests or again on Yesterdays
Web page that has IH/Farmall tractors by make, model, serial number, weight, make and model, etc;
or ask at Local IH\Case dealer they may just fool you and have the info or know someone who can help
you..... ..... ..... .Charlie V
