I got my first tractor just about a year ago, an old IH240. I'm no tractor expert, but my 240 has been running for about 6 months now and I love it. It does just about anything I need it to do. My wife is beginning to think I love my tractor more than I do her. I just keep quiet when she says that. (Don't want to have to tell her the truth!)
I would be interested in what others think. How does the 240 compare on power and agility to other models?

I would like to hear more about your Int.240. I bought one a few months ago and really like it. Have you done any work on it? If so, what? Do you still have generator-6 volt system? Is yours row-crop, or wide front-end? I have questions about the steering gear box. Thanks. Jim

about 3,600. Pretty rare. I've got one that i'm fixing up right now. Some of the parts have been hard to find, but most parts are interchangeable with the C/Super C/200/230 tractors. Are the front underhood side panels missing? Those can be really hard to find. If the 240 you found still has them and you don't want it, let me know, I would be interested in buying them.
