Here (hopefully) are some more IH (and Case) photos. This is my Dad and my current lineup. Everything is in good running condition though only a few are used on a regular basis. Also is my prize Super C as a piece of junk when I bought it and what it turned in to.

Yea Scotty, that is the F20. The other old one is an F14. It has electric start, some sort of 2 speed over drive gear box and hydraulic lift. It also has no hours on a complete overhaul. The f 20 runs but needs some valve work. I keep thinking I'm going to tackle that but something else keeps coming up. The six shooter wife usually gets first priority.

You don't have to worry- if I don't say yes mam she reminds me and doesn't hesitate to remind anyone else, either. She speaks her mind.

Nice red power line up you've got there JD. Anxious to see close ups on them all now. Last evening after viewing the first two tractors I was brousing through the photo album, came across your F20, SuperC and Super MTA. I see I was wrong your farther south.

J.D. Glad to see you got the picture thing to work as it would've been a shame not to share those beauties with all of us. Great pics! I hope my SC ('51) comes out looking like yours. I didn't see a close up of that Case there in the back row. Is there also a SMTA there? Does your wife help out on the tractors?//FB

There is an SMTA in there and I will try to post a more clear picture of it. Yes Karen does help with the tractors and has laid claim to one of the Super C's. (wearing that six shooter you think I'm going to tell her no?)

Very nice J.D. Humm, you have come along way on posting photos since last week! Love your Super C, what year is it 53 or 54? My 53 with FH is also my favorite.

That Super C is a '53. My wife (the gunslinger) also has a '53 SC, but hers is nearly perfect original except for paint

Very nice tractors. Hope my Super C turns out that nice. Mine is getting the touch controll machined and overhauled right now.If your going to have tractors that look that good, you better have a pistol packin mamma to protect them.

Yes, that was my better half. Notice how nice I was being to her in that photo? Her Super C is in the line up picture, has a buggy top, wide front and a sickle bar mower on the hitch.

Nice gun J.D. What year is it? Tractors look great too. Nothing like a passle of red tractors herded together. What part of the country are you?

As far as the gun goes it is a 22 caliber six shooter but that is about all I know about it. My Dad has a few guns that he has collected, though not many. We are located at Tonganoxie, Kansas, about 30 miles straight west of Kansas City, MO. on US 24 highway. (I work in the KC area as an elevator/escalator mechanic).

You must be in corn/bean country then. I was through there a couple of times many years ago. Do you raise any wheat around there or is that further south?

Yes there is a lot of wheat around here, as well as corn and beans plus a lot of milo. In this immediate area, however, we are becoming more and more a suburb of KC. A new 80000 person capacity Nascar race track opened 13 miles east of here and all he@# has broken loose with construction around that place. Land prices have skyrocketed here and I believe the days of buying land here to farm are about over.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Electronic Ignition - by Staff. Oil, for example has come a long way in the last 50 years and I don't use anything but the latest API grade available. I've heard the arguments for non-detergent oils but would never trade it for today's formulations. Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos ... [Read Article]
