Recently the pto shaft coming out the rear of my bn has been engaged and will not come out. The lever is located at the left of my seat and will not move forward or back. Normally the lever being forward the pto is out of gear and back is engaged. Any help would be appreciated,.

ssounds like the piece of metal on the shifting fork has worn off sometimes when they want to jump out of gear the operator will hold the lever and this will wear out the linkage input shaft might be worn this will let it jump out of gear loosen up the screw under the pto lever this is spring loaded and will help get things together you can load this linkage after every thing else is done

Sounds like the lever assembly has disengaged from the sliding tube. Pull the transmission cover and work to attach the tube and lever to line up everything. The only tricky part is assembling the transmission cover while keeping the lever and tube in the right place.
