About 32,500 W30s of various configurations were built. Another 30,000 or so of F30s were built. They both share a lot of the same engine parts. Engine parts can be had but not real easy. Tractor parts unique to the W30 would be pretty scare I would think. If you got the room and time and $$$$, that would be an interesting restoration!

Go for it! They are a nice old tractor. If you can get it cheaply you can safely justify your costs. If you are patient you will be surprised where parts will turn up. My mate had started restoring a W40 which had excessive ring gap (about 90 thou!!)Anyway a new set of pistons/rings and sleeves was advertised about a month later which he obtained for three hundred dollars (Aust. dollars, about half yours!)

Good luck!
