Things are coming together for the International Harvester Collectors Club , Indiana Chapter #7 show, which will be held in conjunction with the White River Valley Antique Association's 17th Annual Show at Elnora, IN, on September 7, 8, 9, 2001. International Harvester equipment owners please feel welcome to bring your exhibit--new, old, restored, or unrestored. Everything is wanted! Cub Cadets, original tractors, implements, trucks, gas engines, toys, tools or memorabilia. IH related vendors are welcome, also. (We have several all IH parts vendors signed up--including one with only Cub Cadet parts). A $5.00 membership is required for exhibitors due to our liability insurance requirements. The immaculately restored International Harvester 30-60 Titan tractor that was built in 1917, one of only two remaining, is scheduled to be here. Also, Harry Lee's collection of unique and rare Farmall tractors. You will not be disappointed!

Ben:

Sixty years ago I put some time in on the old EI&TH Railroad, operated by the New York Central. Knew a lot of the local folks up and down the pike. Great people and a great time to live. I'm curious!. Is the old depot at Elnora, Plainville, Worthington, or any of those towns still standing?
Many farmers in little communities often bought the depots and moved them to their private property for storage or for nostalgia's sake. Some even made small Mom and Pop restaurants and such.
Just finished up prettying up my old 40 "H". I'll not tackle another one. I'm too old, not enough time on the clock, besides, parts scarce and too expensive for what is available. Good luck on your Red paint meets. Sure like to be there!

Chapter #7 covers the entire state of Indiana. We would be more than happy to sign you up as a member. There will be membership applications at the show at Elnora, or if you cannot attend (I hope you can), let me know and I will send you one. I am a director in the state club.
