I have a 786 that stops with the TA in the back position. If I leave the handle forward will I be able to just forget the TA thanks in advance, George

There are a lot of Farmall tractors with the same symptoms as your 786. It will run for a long time with the TA lever forward. I've seen guys through the TA lever in the tool box so that they can't use it.
