What was the belt hp of the 48 super a? Are these geared the same as the 130,140 tractors? Thanks ,Mike.

Here is a bit more info on the belt:
Pully speed.............................1157rpm
Belt speed with 8.5 in. pully...2574 ft./min
Pully diameter.........................8.5 in.
Pully face................................6 in.

pto/belt hp is 19
drawbar hp is 17

Mike,
They are close to the 130. Guy Fay's Data Book shows the 130 to be very close in speed/gear to the Super A, but I don't have any info on the 140.
The small differences were probably due to changes in tire size or governed engine speed.

Super As put out 19hp at the belt. Dunno about the gearing, but I'd think they are all fairly close.
