Farmall Super C with NF, both front tires shot, resting on rims. Nowhere to put a jack. Anybody got a trick for jacking up a tricycled front end so I can replace the tires and go? Thanks. RedTed/MO.

Chocked the wheels and put my jack under the clutch housing;... worked fine! Thanks for your help. (I'll be back.) RedTed/MO

Securely chock the rear wheels both ahead and in back of the tires. Now loosen (don't remove) the wheel mounting bolts. Finally stick a bottle jack under the clutch housing (set the jack on a block if req'd to get the height) and jack away. Both front wheels can now easily be removed!

This is an old-fashioned trick. Put a cement block down with a slanted board infront of 1 TIRE ONLY. Drive the tractor onto the block. You can change the Other tire, and do the same for the oppisite tire.

Neglected to mention: tractor is loose, but not running. RedTed/MO

Lock the brakes and chock the rear wheels so she can't move. Put a hydraulic bottle jack under the flat place on the bottom of the clutch housing and jack her up.

You can still pull it up with your car, but there's probably easier ideas if it ain't running.
