Just bought a 300 utility with Torque Amplifier. Have been told that if I don't use it right I can do damage to things. Whats the right way to use it and what trouble can I cause if I don't. Thanks

If you have ever used a hand clutch remeber this is quite different! The shift from high to low or back shouldnt take more than 2 seconds. Going much slower will just fry the ta. Never pull back the ta to coast down hills it will over rev the unit and can explode, the lower the trany gear the more likely! Used in the proper manner these can last for many years and a bozo can ruin one in an hour.

ps we have never had to replace a ta in thousands of hours of tractor operation.

There was quite a discussion a while back, maybe 2 months about right and wrong of TA usage. Check archives and will give suggestions on dos and don'ts.
