LOOKING AT FARMALL 450D. ENGINE IS STUCK FROM SITTING IN WEATHER, NO RAIN CAP ON MUFFLER.
TRACTOR HAS PS, HYD REMOTE, FAST HITCH. TIRES
ARE LIKE NEW, GOOD SHEETMETAL. I'VE BEEN TOLD
ENGINE PARTS ARE EXPENSIVE. WHAT IS A FAIR
PRICE TO PAY???

Bought a 400 diesal a couple weeks ago runs good, TA , power steering doesn,t work, 4 good tires, good tin except grill,fast hitch,needs radiator gave $1000.

yes engine parts are expensive, and prices vary depending on who call.. I know that bates, berkshire & joes were out of my league (over $500 for bearings, over 1000 p&s, etc) before you buy check with the other advertisers in red power magazine before you buy

How much are they asking for it? What is the most you would pay for it? Where is it located? What is the guys phone number?
If you buy it for a good price, you can put a lot of money in it for a hobby/occasional use tractor.
If you are doing it for other reasons than the love of the sound or satisfaction of keeping old iron running, then I have no satisfactory answers for you.

THEY ARE ASKING $1000.00 FOR THE TRACTOR. WILL
PROABLY OFFER $500-$700. MY NEIGHBOR OFFERED
$300.00 FOR REAR TIRES.
