can anyone tell me if there is another way to find out the year of a f-14 other than the serial number plate on the gas tank support. This support has been replaced sometime in the past. Is there another number stamped somewhere or is there a way? Thanks, Larry

Just in front of the fuel pump is a flat surface with the numbers mentioned below

The serial number pad for the engine should be on the left side of the engine toward the front. It is hand stamped on a rasied pad on the block. At least that is where it is on my F-12. I don't think an F-14 is that different as far as the number location goes. Hope this helps.

I was at a show last weekend and looked over an F-14. the number is in a different place that my F-12. My F-12 has the number next to the fuel pump and the F-14 I looked at has the number on the fuel pump side of the engine but towards the back of the block in the middle. It is stamped on a raised pad.

I believe you may be able to figure that out by the engine serial #. Others may be able to tell you more. Good luck
