On the right hand side of the tractor and on the hydrolic box there is a plug near the top, just remove it. If you havent ever changed it maybe you should just dump it out and clean the filter and put in new hytran oil it will work a lot better and it doesnt take a lot of oil.

Erik, which tractor are you referring to? A "C" takes 80/90 weight.

If I'm reading right, Erik is describing the Touch Control, and you're thinking of the tranny.

460 has a plug on the left side of the differential housing, about halfway up. Use Hytran as 90W will cause problems with the hydraulics and TA. Use 90W, etc in your C rear end, Hytran in the hydraulics.

Walk to back of tractor look on the right side of tractor you will see a small plug take it out. It will be full when gear oil runs out. I use 90 wt.
