I have a M I need to sell.It has a brand new saginaw 3 pt and a tsc 5ft bush hog type mower 1200.00 plus for those 2 items. THe M has just been all rewired (professionally) for 12 volt, new battery plugs distributor cap wires etc. Tires are real good with tubes and believe filled with calcium chloride or whatever it is you fill tires with.Starts in the middle of the worst weather like last winter. Does not leak a drop of fluid narrow front with wheel weights all around 3 total on rears singles on front with mud scrapers. Sheet metal is real good and solid all around. Rims aare all solid no rust anywhere. Aaam I nusts trying to get 3450.00 for this workhorse? Trannny and pto are excellant also clutch.
thanks

Probably not. You can always come down a little.
Have had people ask me what I woould sell something for and I always put a premium price on it.

Good luck

Nice try. You are not nuts, now post an ad where it belongs, not on the discussion group...

To Dave T: You got a little too smart mouth about Jacks post. He didn't have a phone number or address etc. His post wasn't much different than other asking "what is such and such worth." We're all here to help. After all, Farmers like to debate value. Lighten up. This is an informal site with layed back friendly posts. Ralph

I am not trying to sell it here. Just wanted some realistic feedback as to price as that is jsut about what I have in it. If I wanted to sell it I would of posted it there or at leaset posted the vicinity of the country it was located in.
You know what they say when you assume.
thanks

I'm sorry, it sure sounded like a sales pitch. I got $3500 for my 300 with a Saginaw hitch. The buyer was thrilled. He didn't expect to get that much tractor for the money....Dave

Jack, you aren't nuts, perhaps on the high side for an M but if someone is really wanting one and you have added all these new items...I don't think so..3450-1200=2250...you are really asking 2250 for an M with a new Saginaw 3 pt. hitch worth about $600..so$1650....Someone who wants the pair will not find that greatly out of line at least not in southern Ontario. Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario

Michael, I missed something in your analysis. Jack said the mower and Saginaw 3 point were $1200. So 3450-1200=2250 for an M, not an M with a Saginaw. To me $2250 for an M whose paint condition is not mentioned is about $850 to high. For $2250 I would expect a recently restored M. And wear as I would be pleased to buy a "like new" Saginaw for the purchase price, a used TSC mower would be depreciated greatly. Dick
